Every year at the end of the school year, CAC holds a High School Recognition Ceremony to celebrate its students’ wonderful achievements. Four awards awarded, among many others, are quite memorable and touching. These four awards are:

- Elizabeth Carr Creative Writing award
- Tom Tushar Zacharia award
- Deana Blanchard award
- Kira Goodwin award (an award started this year at CAC)

Families of our former students and faculty that had passed away during their time at CAC founded four important awards in their names to allow CAC to carry on their legacy at CAC and pose as role models for our High School students. Each award carries the remarkable characteristics that each former student or faculty member portrayed during their time at CAC and those characteristics are the criteria for choosing the High School student awardees every year.

It is always heartwarming to see our current students get to know the legacy of Elizabeth, Tom, Deana, and Kira, promise to carry their amazing traits as they continue their journey; as well as the opportunity for the awardees to connect with the donor families, becoming part of their family for life.

While this year’s ceremony was held virtually online due to the Corona pandemic, however it did not lack the warmth and celebration of our past and current students and staff.

We thank the families for allowing CAC to carry on legacies, and congratulate our current students for a job well done this year.
